She is the author of the weekly Technology Edit newsletter and the voice of the Tech Edit podcast. I’m a journalist, editor and speaker specializing in the future of fashion, known for offering digestible insights on which technologies matteR.

Most recently as the founding innovation editor of Vogue Business, my Technology Edit newsletter became a must-read for the industry’s top minds, spanning artificial intelligence, wearables, Web3 and beyond. Before joining Vogue and Condé Nast, I was the first technology reporter for industry bible WWD, where I reported on the fashion aspirations of tech giants including Google, Apple, Amazon and Meta. Previously a reporter at the Style desk of the San Francisco Chronicle, I’ve spent almost 15 years chronicling a new generation of fashion-tech startups and economies.

I’ve also written for publications including W, Marie Claire, Business of Fashion, Racked and Glossy.

An in-demand public speaker and interviewer, I have spoken at conferences including CES, SxSW, Shoptalk, Christie’s Art + Summit; have been interviewed by the BBC and NPR; and have appeared on Amazon fashion competition show “Making the Cut”. I’ve also hosted a limited podcast series, The Tech Edit by Vogue Business, as an extension of my popular newsletter.

I’ve taught courses on fashion and journalism at the University of Florida, San Francisco’s Academy of Art University and the Vogue Summer School. My formative years were spent as the editorial director of a regional publishing company, leading publications focused on lifestyle, business and tourism. 

I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in journalism and a minor in art history, after studying fashion at the Savannah College of Art & Design.
